As a Process Engineering Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will help build outstanding process teams to drive manufacturing capability to scale in the newest Memory Fab in the United States!

Your primary responsibility over the next 1-2 years will be leading the hiring of the process teams for Diffusion areas, developing a training pipeline for these new engineers, partnering our DRAM HVM fabs to setup a successful transfer of 160D to ID1.

This position requires collaborating with the ID1 Process Engineering Leadership team, University Relations, HVM, TD, Procurement, Facilities as well as interaction with equipment and materials suppliers to drive area manufacturing alignment. You must support effective teamwork across all geographies and departments, and external suppliers as well as international travel, as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Finishing the required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with Micron safety policies while promoting a positive work environment

  • Developing the strategic vision for building out the team

  • Developing ambitious performance targets and ensuring line-of-sight goals are communicated to your team members

  • Partners with ME and IE teams to validate capacity management to achieve required wafers per day

  • Support department business processes for new tool installations, as well as existing tool modifications/relocations/removals

  • Serves as a key area resource for technical support and/or providing required technical resources to support Process Engineering, ME, ATE and TD wafer processing in the HVM facility

  • Teaming up with other 300 mm counterparts and OCT to identify and use global best-known methods

  • Addressing large audiences, executives, and technology authorities on innovative topics

  • Knowing Micron People policies and collaborating closely with People organization

  • Ensuring you area of responsibility has succession plans for all key positions

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Consistent track record leading small and large teams toward common goals with successful track record of prior leadership

  • Set and measure short and long-range goals for a large team or department

  • Experience building and developing teams

  • Consistent track record driving multiple innovatory projects

  • Proven understanding of manufacturing team structure, standards, and processes

  • Communicate and present technical information optimally

  • Strong interpersonal and prioritization skills

  • Strong data analysis, problem solving, and fixing skills

  • Collaborating with other groups to build strong peer relationships

  • Mentoring and guiding team members supporting their career development

  • Solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure

  • Identify, understand, and mitigate risk before making critical decisions

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • 5 years direct semiconductor experience.
