Overview:

The Senior Finance Business Partner serves as the financial point of contact and strategic business partner to functional organizations within the organization. In alignment with system financial strategies and tactics, leads stewardship efforts to meet financial goals and metrics.

What You Can Expect:

  • Presents operational and financial performance insights to business unit leadership and key stakeholders. Performs high value analysis and interpretation of key business metrics to aid decision making and operational planning. Provides operational context, highlights opportunities, and proactively makes suggestions for improvement.

  • Understands and interprets operational processes and business context to translate financial and non-financial information into financial business cases.

  • In partnership with business unit leaders, participates in the identification, development and implementation of finance interventions to accomplish business objectives. Leads margin improvement efforts, including labor management, expense management, process improvements, etc.

  • Develops solutions to complex problems, requiring a high degree of financial acumen and understanding of the business.

  • Supports and maximizes the business units operational and strategic performance delivering services that ensure high level customer service. Builds strong rapport and trust with stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve the credibility to enable challenging discussions around financial performance.

  • Provides ongoing education for front-line leaders and business unit leadership, helping to build financial acumen across the organization.

  • Leads special projects and participates on committees, workgroups, and teams, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience: 7 years relevant experience
