Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Sr. Transmission Line Engineer to sit remotely in EST/CST. They will act as a Lead Engineer on multi-discipline projects, responsible for determining design approaches and working with the design team to prepare required design documents (overhead drawings, specifications, sag calculations, etc.). This will consist of verifying calculations, checking design documents for accuracy, QA/QC, etc. The project work will include overhead transmission lines, underground transmission lines, etc. Additionally, they'll assist with the creation of project scope, budget, and proposals. They'll help with design estimates, and defining project requirements, and objectives.

Skills and Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering

• 6+ years of experience in transmission line design

• PLS-CADD experience - Experience working with/for large utility companies (Duke, Exelon, Dominion, etc.).

• PE or EIT null
