The Enterprise Technology Architecture team focuses on the largest organisations in EMEA supporting them in their journey to platform modernisation, to strategically manage technical debt and to adopt new and innovative technologies at scale.

Enterprise Technology Architects take responsibility for architecture from the initial idea right through to deployment. The sense of achievement in over-seeing the successful evolution of your solutions from inception to delivery is one of the most rewarding aspects of the role. Driving customer success, through high quality architectural solutions, is the very cornerstone of our ambitions. You and the team will be instrumental in the customer adoption of your solutions and, as a result, build long standing business and IT value for the customer.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in leading technical presales teams in all phases of the sales cycle

  • Experience with the large Cloud transformations

  • Thorough understanding of Oracle’s products and services

  • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and develop a team of roughly 10-12 Enterprise Technology Architects including recruiting, hiring, and planning training on new technologies.

  • As a senior leader of a technical presales team, we expect you to be both a people manager and a technology architect, we are looking for somebody with strong technical and people management skills.

  • Assist in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.

  • Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.

Responsibilities

Responsible for directing and managing resources, typically through others, to work with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design and implement solutions for customers. Establishes and communicates business objectives, metrics and plans to ensure attainment of business strategy. Manages the implementation of solutions, ensures successful deployments, provides direction on code development and scripting. Oversees the support of customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services, resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Frequent interaction with C level.
