Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Irvine, California

Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Irvine, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the telecom industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining professional relationships with account contacts, effectively communicating with customers and affiliates, and managing work orders. Your role will also entail handling customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop positive and professional rapport with assigned account contacts and provide excellent customer service

• Effectively communicate with customers and affiliates via telephone and email

• Receive and dispatch work orders to meet customer expectations

• Track all open and closed work orders, including updating status notes in the system

• Follow up on the status of all work orders with affiliates and customers, ensuring accurate and timely completion

• Obtain inspection purchase orders from the customer and dispatch the inspection work orders to affiliates in a timely manner

• Request and submit proposals for additional repairs/services and to correct deficiencies

• Review the Call Analysis report and provide status on work orders

• Review exception management queue and mark-up queue daily

• Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate before invoicing

• Utilize skills in MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Call Center Customer Service, Data Entry, Customer Invoices, Dispatching, and Job Scheduling.

Requirements • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Microsoft Outlook is mandatory.

• Prior experience in a call center, providing customer service is required.

• Must possess strong data entry skills.

• Knowledge and understanding of customer invoices.

• Ability to manage dispatching and job scheduling tasks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
