Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Marketing teams are responsible for broad marketing strategy and execution across all marketing and/or digital activities including integrated, digital, communications, product marketing, etc., for a business, region, country or corporate function by developing clear and compelling positioning and value propositions and go-to-market approaches for new product introductions. They are also responsible for brand portfolio management, aligning with corporate frameworks, including marketing plans for newly acquired brands and creative direction of all marketing communications, overseeing brand experience across all marketing and customer, sales and employee touch points. They develop and implement an integrated strategy for digital marketing, including the TE.com website and social media, digital advertising campaigns that lead the marketing community in accelerated adoption of emerging digital and content-centered marketing practices and lead development and delivery of best practice marketing communications by leveraging industry trends, competitive intelligence, customer insights and analysis in developing compelling marketing programs.

Overview:

As part of the Automotive Business Unit, the Integrated Marketing Manager will be operating in a crucial hybrid role of strategic planning, marketing planning, managing comprehensive go-to-market plans, and hands-on execution tied directly back to the business priorities.

The role offers an exciting, fast track, fast growth environment with senior management exposure, development plans and requires managerial courage and ability to operate in an environment of occasional ambiguity. The incumbent will be measured against growing customer count, increased revenue, and internal alignment across the online & offline employees.

This role requires close collaboration with the other commercial functions including Product Management, Sales, Business Development, Engineering and Corporate Marketing and Communication to build, execute and optimize awareness and demand generation campaigns tied to profitable growth.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Turn market insight into detailed marketing plan that may include creating market positioning and BU narrative that dictates how we position ourselves within the market.

  • Campaign Management: Generate demand through creation, implementation and measurement of integrated marketing and product campaigns leveraging all marketing channels (advertising, public relations, digital / social media, collateral, webinars, events, etc.)

  • Manage and coordinate exhibitions, sponsored events, customer Tech Day and other events with high quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage new Auto product launch and product promotion in Japan Develop various marketing assets localization (brochures, catalogues, videos, advertisements, presentations, etc.).

  • Plan and execute external communications with key automotive trade medias on thought leadership programs, press conference, media interviews and press releases.

  • Understanding of how data and insight drive increased sales, revenues, market share, segmentation or creation of a new brand or position in the marketplace.

  • Developing and enhancing communications-related performance metrics to measure effectiveness, progress and business impact

  • Take an agile approach to continuous improvement, constantly testing and developing new programs and methods as required.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in B2B marketing in multiple marketing disciplines, including integrated, product and channel marketing

  • Automotive industrial experiences and market trends

  • Project management skills including managing multiple, projects simultaneously

  • Ability to understand and articulate customer, competitive and market focus – analysis, VOC, differentiation, and key strategies to better understand and champion the customer in campaign planning

  • Experience in campaign and product marketing, branding, digital, communications and partner development

  • Strong written & verbal skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and peers around the world and personality geared toward inclusion and diversity

  • Highly collaborative, can connect with team remotely, and can work across multiple stakeholders to gain alignment

  • Managerial courage and communication skills to effectively and constructively challenge and influence leaders and experts in the organization

  • Experience in Account Based Marketing is a plus
