Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Sr. Events Planner, Kitchen and Bath International Marketing role at Kohler will be responsible for meticulously planning and flawlessly executing marketing events for the Kitchen and Bath division on an international scale. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate various aspects of events to ensure their success. Responsibilities include choosing event venues, managing all event operations, negotiating with vendors and suppliers, and creating regular reporting for senior leadership. As a part of the Kitchen & Bath International team you will work closely with both the central marketing organization and our partners in various countries throughout the globe.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing events for Kitchen & Bath International, including but not limited to product launches, trade shows, industry conferences, and customer appreciation events.

  • collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing teams, product managers, sales teams, and external vendors to define event objectives, themes, and logistics.

  • Develop comprehensive event timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget constraints.

  • Source and manage external vendors, such as event venues, caterers, audiovisual suppliers, and transportation providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing vendor performance.

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, booth design, event registration, travel arrangements, accommodations, catering, and onsite staffing.

  • Oversee event setup, teardown, and onsite execution, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly and according to plan.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for event-related inquiries and troubleshooting, providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis, collecting feedback, measuring event success against predefined KPIs, and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to event planning and execution, incorporating innovative ideas into future events.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, or related field.

  • Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a marketing or corporate setting.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.

  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of event planning and execution.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), event management software, and CRM systems.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours as needed to accommodate event schedules.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $63,100 - $79,500. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
