Job Purpose and Scope:

Performs project management activities including planning, monitoring, and execution for multiple new construction and remodel/upfit projects.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Actively participates in the planning, monitoring, and execution of construction and remodel projects and makes recommendations to management regarding complex construction and design matters; tracks budgetary estimates and scheduled changes.
  2. Coordinates the construction bidding process, including bid solicitation and contract award; maintains related documents.
  3. Collaborates with vendors, subcontractors, and various construction services teams to coordinate project activities.
  4. Conducts regular site visits to observe work in progress.
  5. Escalates issues and concerns to management and identifies and recommends potential solutions.
  6. Provides reports on status of projects and updates all files, correspondence, and change recommendations.
  7. Manages budgets and timelines.
  8. Closes projects including As-builts, Warranty Documents, Certificate of Occupancy, and related documents.
  9. Coordinates completion of forms such as change orders, purchase orders, service agreements, and subcontracts.
  10. Maintains files, project notes, meeting agendas and scheduling for onsite construction projects.
  11. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
  12. Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
  13. Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Knowledge of building construction methods and technologies.
  2. Ability to understand and interpret construction plans.
  3. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with exacting deadlines.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  5. Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives.
  6. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment.
  7. Ability to demonstrate effective organization, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work without close supervision.
  9. Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
  10. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  11. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  12. Ability to maintain attention to detail.
  13. Ability to travel to Bank locations, which may result in some overnight travel.
  14. Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree, preferably in construction management, or commensurate work experience, required.
  2. 4+ years experience in construction administration and project management, required.
  3. Experience with AutoCAD and other construction management software, preferred.
