You Will Be Responsible For:

Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando’s service standards.

Purchasing

• Coordinates the purchasing for the Food Production Center, ensuring each delivery meets purchasing requirements, and provides outstanding service to warehouse, production and off-site customers by monitoring and maintaining appropriate FPC inventory, and collaborates with the Warehouse to adjust established par levels to meet changing business needs.

• Utilizes technology to ensure products are purchased in adherence with contracts and monitors and evaluates other value-added products and services for price and quality.

Customer Service

• Delivers outstanding customer service to all sites, initiating communication with customers, providing information that will enhance customers’ purchasing processes, including product quality and price issues, and responds to customer inquiries and requests promptly and effectively, following any problem through to resolution.

• Collaborates with Contracts Manager to find solutions for discontinued or changed product.

Invoice Management

• Accurately receives invoices into CBORD within established timeframes, cross-referencing data to ensure that products meet purchasing requirements.

• Provides a monthly non-compliance reporting document to the Contracts Manager.

• Maintains invoice files and manages the payment of invoices, researching any queries or problems to resolution, and ensuring that all invoices are paid to maximize discounts, rebates and incentives.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Required:

• Three years of experience working in procurement

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Financial and analytical skills commensurate with job duties

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to manage time to meet daily deadlines

Preferred:

• CBORD MMS

• MM/MA Host System

• Five years of experience working in procurement

Job Summary:

The Nutritional Services System Buyer is responsible for the routine purchasing functions of the Business Resource Center; coordinates purchasing for the Food Production Center (FPC); supports the FPC warehouse, production and off-site teams; monitors and maintains appropriate physical inventory and; continuously monitors and evaluates price and quality, Committed Manufacturing Agreements (CMA), discounts, rebates, and other value-added products and services. Uses available resources to ensure an accurate and synchronized Foodservice program software (CBORD) database. Coordinates and processes invoices for payment, maximizes discounts, rebates, and incentives. Processes credits. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
