Job Description & Primary Purpose:

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their mining organization in a contract to hire capacity, on a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week on average. Work with various teams to analyze and document complex business processes, functions and current problems with 5-10 business applications. Develop solutions to address gaps in functions, collaborate with teams of providers on internal teams to ensure adequate resolutions, implementations, bug fixes. Due to the nature of the applications supported, there may be required assistance on incidents outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document complex business processes/ functions and current problems (scope of 5-10 business apps)
• Identify alternative solutions to understand gaps in business functions/ processes
• Facilitate problem management between site-based teams and offshore teams
• Coordinate bug resolution between 3rd party service providers and on-site teams
• Must be based in Salt Lake City, occasional site visits required (2-3 times a week on average)
• Due to the nature of the application supported, may be required to assist on incident outside normal business hours

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 6 years' experience in the following:
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Experience in a role of business systems analyst in a team environment
• Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience in logistics systems development & support: manufacturing/ERP systems, card readers/badging systems
• Experience in troubleshooting .NET/C# apps - / ASP.net web apps and delivering minor improvements a plus (nice to have)
• Ability to maintain relational databases and troubleshoot MSSQL queries a plus (nice to have)
