The Client Services Director is responsible for the strategic and tactical day-to-day management of the prospective payment client services team (Associate Client Services Director, Client Policy Manager, Client Services Manager), focused on achieving and surpassing goals with assigned client(s), revenue retention and growth, and client satisfaction. The Client Services Director works with the overall team in the standardization of operational processes and procedures and the enhancement of productivity and minimization of risk. All activities are focused on the operational excellence in the delivery of consistent and exceptional service and value to Cotiviti clients.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, assess, develop, and manage Client Services staff, for assigned clients, in the prospective payment business unit. * Oversee all Client Services management activities for assigned clients, leveraging expertise on more clients by imparting knowledge and skills to the operational team. * Responsible for meeting assigned client revenue and growth targets. * Solicit performance input from internal business partners at multiple leadership levels to measure results, and provide guidance, feedback, coaching, and development to help people succeed and grow. Recognize and reward exceptional performance, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that delivers consistent, best-in-class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction. * Lead the team based on goals, metrics, process consistency, and clear performance standards required for successful client quality and internal efficiency. * Guide direct report's activities in relationship development with client contacts to identify needs and generate and implement solutions while protecting Cotiviti's intellectual property and serve as a strategic point of contact for assigned clients. * Ensure the operational team is successfully executing on client payment policy decisions and assist in identifying and implementing solutions to address client business needs while protecting Cotiviti's intellectual property. * Ensure timely, high-quality resolution of client inquiries, pulling in appropriate subject matter experts as necessary * Present a positive image of Client Services internally and Cotiviti to the marketplace. * Actively participate in and contribute to corporate and departmental initiatives, projects and committees and develops and implements initiatives consistent with company and business unit goals, as assigned * Develop and maintain key internal relationships to ensure client needs are met. * Operate with rigor, producing work that reflects a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness in consideration of internal and external clients' needs. * Work with management to set performance objectives for individual client services team members to meet strategic needs of the client services model. * Work with management in leading process improvements internally to ensure optimal results through tools and processes that enhance teamwork, consistency, quality and client satisfaction and retention. * Identify development and training needs and assist in the delivery, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • 8+ years related experience with a minimum of 5+ years of healthcare operations (particularly healthcare consulting), provider relations, network management, or claims operations experience.
